These terms apply to slidingpuzzlesolver.app, provided under the name Sliding Puzzle Solver. The website offers a free sliding-tile puzzle tool and educational guides. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

Permitted use
You may use the interactive solver and guides for personal play, learning and other lawful purposes. Do not interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious content through the service, or use it to infringe another person's rights. Automated activity must not disrupt the service or impair access for other visitors.
The current tool does not require an account or charge for solving. You are responsible for your device, connection and any charges from your network or a separate third-party service. You may stop using the tool at any time.
Your photos and shared material
You retain your rights in photos and other material you choose to use. Select only images you own, have permission to use, or can otherwise lawfully process. Choosing a local image does not transfer ownership to us. Be mindful of people whose personal information or likeness appears in an image before sharing it.
The screenshot and sharing features can create downloadable files or links containing a numbered puzzle layout. Review what you share and where you send it. A shared link can be forwarded by its recipients, and copies sent to another service are subject to that service's terms. We cannot remove copies saved on someone else's device or platform.
Solver results and availability
Fast mode aims to find a valid route and may use more moves than necessary. Shortest mode and A* return a shortest route when their searches complete successfully. Searches can stop at time or storage limits; a resource limit does not establish that a puzzle is impossible. Check the entered board and selected goal before relying on a result.
The service and guides are provided as available. We work to keep them useful, but do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every browser, error-free results or permanent storage. Features, limits and content may change. Browser data may be cleared or lost, so save any screenshot you want to keep.
Website content and third parties
Rights in website text, design, code and other materials remain with their respective owners. Access to this website does not by itself grant a license to redistribute those materials. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses, and these terms do not remove permissions granted by an applicable license.

Responsibility, changes and contact
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept responsibility for losses caused by reliance on an incorrect result, interruption of the service or loss of local browser data.
