Puzzle layouts, photos and sharing
Tile moves, validation and solution searches run in your browser. Selected photos are decoded and cropped locally; the puzzle tool does not upload the original photo to our server. The site has no account registration or payment form.
When you create a screenshot, the app may store a generated image under puzzle_screenshot in browser session storage so the preview page can display
it. This is temporary browser storage, rather than an account-based gallery. Clearing site
data removes it. Downloaded files and copies you share remain wherever you save or send
them.
Shared puzzle and screenshot links contain the numbered board, dimensions and sometimes a move count in URL parameters. Anyone with the link can read those values. URLs can also appear in browser history, hosting logs and analytics. They do not contain the uploaded photo. Using a device share menu, clipboard or external sharing service sends the content you choose to that destination under its own policies.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the site. The Google tag loads
when a page opens. It may use cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and
process page addresses, referral information, interactions, browser and device details, and
approximate location. We do not configure the tag to send your uploaded photo.
Google explains its processing in how Google uses information from partner sites and its cookie information. Analytics retention and features depend on the property's configuration; this policy does not promise a particular deletion period. The current site does not provide a cookie consent dialog or a site-specific analytics preference control.
Fonts, hosting and external services
The Inter font is served with the website's own files. Loading the font does not require a request to Google Fonts. Google Analytics is a separate external service described above.
The hosting provider processes requests to deliver and protect the website, which can include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and technical logs. When the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare provides that infrastructure; its handling is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy. External links and sharing destinations have their own practices. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Your choices and requests
You can clear browser site data, manage or block cookies, and use browser controls to limit third-party requests. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Blocking analytics does not change the puzzle's solving rules; disabling all JavaScript prevents interactive play and search.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to processing, or raise a concern with a supervisory authority. Contact the address above to discuss your request. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify relevant records; we cannot retrieve a photo that remained only on your device. Emails you send will be used to handle the inquiry and any related obligations.
